About Avise Chiropractic in Auburn

We have been delivering quality chiropractic care to the South King County and Auburn community since 2000.

Our approach is simple. We believe that health is among our most valuable possessions, therefor our purpose is to help as many people as possible to achieve optimum health naturally, without unnecessary drugs or surgery.

Most people enter our office because they already have some type of health challenge that concerns them. All of our office procedures are designed with one main objective in mind, to discover the underlying cause(s) of a persons health problem(s), and develop a plan to correct it.

Avise Chiropractic exterior

We begin with a consultation and a computerized exam which evaluates muscle function and monitors nerve function. This technology allows us to identify disturbances of nerve function. Chances are that unless you have seen a chiropractor who also has this technology you have never had such a scan.

Eliminating such disturbances enables the nervous system to function efficiently leading to a improved state of health. We pride ourselves in changing peoples lives. If Dr. Avise does not believe that he can help you he will refer you to someone to handle your special needs.

Often people will enter our chiropractic office just to have a spinal checkup or because they are looking to improve their function in some way. These people understand that it is much easier to maintain what they have rather than wait for a health crisis to develop. Most everyone brushes their teeth twice a day and sees a dentist to prevent tooth decay. It only makes sense to have your spine and nervous system checked to prevent spinal decay. It is for this reason that we see a lot of parents bringing in their kids to prevent potential future health problems.

If you are unsure or have questions you are welcome to schedule a complimentary phone consultation with Dr. Avise to discuss any of your concerns.

Dr. Avise Asks some important questions of interest to Auburn residents - Chiropractor Auburn Dr. Avise Asks...

What's the difference between chiropractic and medicine?
Medical treatment focuses on the disease or the symptom. Chiropractic focuses on the person with the disease or the symptom. Medical treatment usually involves changing blood chemistry. Chiropractic involves restoring nervous system integrity. Medical doctors prescribe medicine. Chiropractors adjust the spine—a common source of nervous system interference.
What is the purpose of pain?
Pain prompts many Auburn folks to begin chiropractic care. But pain isn't the problem! Pain is just how your body alerts you that a limit has been reached (or exceeded), that something isn't working right and that some type of change is needed. As a chiropractor, my job is finding the underlying cause and recommending the changes needed to bring your body back into balance.
